Famsun Oils & Fats is a reliable partner for oilseeds processing, providing oils & fats equipment, silo storage systems, steel structures, conveyors and drying equipment. In the last three years, Famsun Oils & Fats has completed more than 18 projects both domestically and outside China.

For Famsun Oils & Fats, Landau Headhunting is searching for a Screw Press Expert with experience in developing screw press equipment for high-capacity oil crushing factories. Being the right candidate for the job, you are expected to know the oilseeds screw press in detail, as well as the crushing process with the screw press.

You will be part of a global multi-cultural company with headquarters in Yangzhou, China, R&D centres in the US, Denmark and Germany, and sales offices around the world selling and servicing their factories. Your place of residence could be anywhere in the world. You can work from home or settle an office near your home.

Your key tasks

As Famsun’s Screw Press Expert, you will produce Screw Press designs for high-capacity edible oil crushing factories. Your key tasks and responsibilities will be to:

• Research and develop screw press equipment and verify the structure to ensure the structural performance and technological leadership of the new product according to requirements.
• Solve technical problems of the screw press, perform basic research and participate in scientific research cooperation with other parties to provide technical support and technical reserve for new product development based on the technical plan.
• Participate in technical investigation, trial manufacturing, test and commissioning, especially the structural test of the new product to ensure that the new product can be introduced to the market smoothly according to requirements.
• Prepare presentations for new product introduction and promotion according to the market demand of the new product.
• Assist in building and commissioning prototypes.

You can expect some travelling activity to FAMSUN’s headquarter, to other Famsun facilities, and to customers around the world.

Your professional profile

Being the ideal candidate, you are expected to have:

• Professional background: Work experience in screw press and capable to design a complete screw press, proficient in mechanical principles, mechanical design, mechanical drawing, transmission structure and mechanical manufacturing processes
• Computer skills: AutoCAD, Solidworks, UG, ProE, Solidage
• Strong sense of responsibility, good communication skills and team spirit
• 8+ years of working experience in oil processing
• Bachelor/Master degree in mechanical design or mechatronics
• English as a working language
