Tech-savvy Student Analysts to Syndicate in Copenhagen

We are now looking for two Student Analysts with an interest in financial markets and a flair for data and coding to join Debt Syndicate at Nordea.

Welcome to Debt Syndicate. Debt Syndicate is the engine room for bonds and loans where the biggest borrowers in the region and whole-sale investors are brought together. It is an exciting and fast-paced desk where we all share a passion for macro-economic developments, markets, credit and numbers.

We are now looking for two new Student Analysts as both our current student analysts are graduating this summer. The two openings relate to Debt Syndicate’s responsibility for maintaining our deal capture system, an application that has been coded in-house in Python and that sources its data from Sharepoint databases.
We use the application both towards Nordea official reporting as well as for business intelligence purposes. You will receive training from our current student analysts and get support from experienced colleagues. Through the job you will gain valuable insights into the workings of financial markets and have the opportunity to build a strong network within the leading Nordic investment bank. You will hone your IT skills and get experience working in an investment-banking/trading floor environment.
What you’ll be doing:
The position is based in Copenhagen and is set at 20 hours per week.
