Within Atea Managed Services, we are experts in IT operations. Regardless of whether our customers want to outsource parts or the entire IT operation, we are our customers’ preferred operating partner. We help free up resources and increase the overall efficiency of their IT organizations. We do this by delivering cost-effective operational services with the highest quality regardless of the customers' platform requirements. This can mean in the customer's own data center, in public cloud platforms or in our own Atea Cloud. Atea Managed Services is available in five countries and more than 1,500 employees work within the business area. We have operating personnel on duty around the clock.
Head of Service Desk
Through our Service Desk, our customers get access to Atea's highly professional and collective expertise on IT-related matters and can focus on their core business. Atea's Service Desk is staffed by approx. 450 highly qualified IT specialists. Our mission is to be our customers' single point of contact for IT related advice and support. As head of our Service Desk, you have overall responsibility for the total delivery in all our countries. To help you, you have several group managers who are responsible for their respective countries as well as a manager of the Back Office. The focus of the role is to create structure and to maintain quality, customer- and employee satisfaction, as well as to face future challenges and opportunities by finding new tools to communicate with customers in different channels. You work actively with the follow-up of operational quality goals, are involved in the dialogue with various stakeholders and ensure that the right decisions are made and channelled correctly within Atea. An important part of the role is also to work with career development and to ensure that we have robust processes for onboarding, production control and employee engagement.

This is what we are looking for in You
We are looking for someone who has experience in managing a larger customer center, preferably with Nordic operations. You have experience in leading managers and have a very good understanding of how to combine technology, processes and human engagement with business development and financial profitability. It is important that you are goal-focused and structured and good at discussing, delegating, and following up. You see opportunities and understand the importance of helping the team clear obstacles in everyday life, and it is also natural for you to be decisive when required. You will collaborate with colleagues in all our countries, so you need to be able to speak English at a good level. If you have experience of working with chabot, AI and/or process control, that is an extra plus.
