Sommelier and Beverages Manager to Senators’ Passage – A place where nature meets high quality

In the heart of Vilnius Old Town lies the historical mansion called Senator’s Passage – a unique place dedicated to quality food, wines, and drinks.

At Senators’ Passage you will find two well-known and respected restaurants, that cherish the farm-to-table concept. Right next to them you will find retail shops with products from Senators’ Passage’s very own farm called Farmers Circle, located just a one-hour drive from Vilnius, also, meat and cheeses from local farmers. To accompany it all, Senators’ Passage offers a carefully selected range of beverages including wines, sodas, cocktails, and coffee.

When it comes to the beverages, especially the wines, Senators’ Passage is known for breaking new ground, removing stereotypes, and challenging the customers by digging a little deeper, than most would. Over the years, well-known wines have been left on the side, making room for more creative and innovative choices – without ever neglecting or losing respect for the classics. Among other great things, this had led to the development of the organic, biodynamic, and natural wine bar concept, Taurés, which is also to be found in Senators’ Passage.

To manage the beverage offerings in the wine bar, the retail shops, and the restaurants at Senators’ Passage, we are looking for a experienced Sommelier and Beverages Manager.

In the role as Sommelier and Beverage Manager, you will get the opportunity to show your ability to manage the beverage offering and ensure profitability as well as developing and implementing a beverage strategy that aligns with the overall business strategi for Senators’ Passage. Your main responsibilities will be:

• Managing the wine bar, retail shops, and restaurant’s beverage offerings.
• Developing and implementing a beverage strategy that aligns with the overall business strategy.
• Working closely with the chefs to ensure wine pairings complement the items on the menu.
• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and distributors.
• Training the staff on wine knowledge, service, and sales.
• Developing and maintaining a strong knowledge of the market including keeping a close look on emerging trends and competitors.
• Collaborating with marketing to develop promotions and events to drive wine and beverage sales.
• Managing beverage budgets and ensuring profitability.
