Business Analyst with experience in PowerBI

What you will do

In this role you will lead the development and deployment of operational dashboards and reports that will provide decision support for our business operations. You will have a very central role in our department, being responsible for presenting different data and creating performance transparency and KPI accountability across our American and Danish team.

You will also prepare standard reporting for key stakeholders and review areas to improve efficiency, quality, and accuracy within the product development process. This is a unique opportunity, where you really get a deep knowledge and understanding of the company – and a good view of the “engine room”.

How you will do it

• Manages a PowerBI system architecture that enables fact-based decision making, ad hoc analysis, predicative analytics, and insight generation
• Assess current state reporting activities and develop robust solutions to automate and optimize
• Ensure appropriate security measures are adhered to
• Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
• Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
• Filter and “clean” data/locate and correct code problems
• Review ad-hoc vs. standard management reporting process to help resolve when repetitive ad-hoc requests should be included as standard reporting
• Collaborates with Commercial Excellence team in identifying Customer Relationship Management (CRM) System functionality that supports business processes

What we look for

• Experience with PowerBI is a requirement
• Deep technical experience – coding capabilities (SQL, Hive/Hadoop, Python) and data loading
• 3-4+ Years minimum experience working in these technical environments
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to disaggregate issues, identify root causes, and recommend solutions
• Good communication capabilities (Being confident presenting in front of global leadership teams)
• Language Requirements: English
