Front-End Developer

We experience a high demand for mobility data, and there is an urgent need of developing geo-spatial web applications that can support our datasets and insights.

We envision an experienced Front-end Developer, who can take ownership of front-end development from ideation to implementation.

Ideally, you come from a job where you have worked on building applications or software in an agile team environment and are accustomed to a fast-paced workday. Having experience with deck.gl, vis.gl, or other geospatial frameworks is a significant advantage.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Experience in developing web applications using JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and React.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and databases (SQL or similar).
• Knowledge of Python (our data models are programmed in Python)
• Experience with deck.gl for data visualization and creating immersive user interfaces.
• Familiarity with Mapbox or other geospatial libraries to leverage location-based services and create dynamic mapping experiences.
• Ability to translate design specifications into vibrant user interfaces within a responsive design.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Ability to work in an agile manner and deliver results within deadlines.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with various stakeholders. Our corporate language is Danish, so it would be an advantage if you understand and speak Danish, but it is not mandatory.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain front-end components and functionalities for our Mobility applications and dashboards.
• Implement user interfaces based on design specifications and guidelines.
• Collaborate closely with Data Scientists and Product Managers to understand and implement their requirements and suggestions.
• Optimize and operate data applications.
• Develop and implement tests to ensure high quality.
• Monitor and resolve technical issues across front-end components.
• Propose improvements to the user experience and user interface.
