Regional Manager, Nordics

Are you ready to lead by example and be responsible for sales and commercial activities? Skamol is looking for a strong commercial profile to manage their sales in the Nordic Region.

Commercial leadership in an international context

Referring to the CCO of Skamol, you will be responsible for leading 10 highly committed Sales Managers and 3-4 employees from an internal sales organization. The goals for the Nordic Region are ambitious and you will be in charge of motivating and developing your team.

Your main responsibility is to adapt the overall sales strategy to the Nordic markets through commercial activities and ensure the development of employees through great leadership.

Your tasks include driving growth by:

• being an inspiring leader for the teammates
• implementing strategies adapted to the Nordic Region aligned with the segment strategy
• creating go-to-market plans with relevant focus on specific products, including price and product positioning
• participating in customer activities and other involvement with key customers across the region
• developing business of new applications and products
• ensuring that KPIs are met.

As Regional Manager, your daily work involves business development. Therefore, you must have an innovative mindset to identify new business opportunities.

The work will take place at Skamol’s office space in Viby, Aarhus.

Experienced role model for sales management

You have solid experience selling to the building and construction industry in the Nordic markets, with strong local and regional knowledge.

• Operate in an international setting with different cultures.
• Have a strong sense of responsibility and leadership.
• Develop and deliver on budget, targeting ambitious growth and margin development within key focus areas.

It is crucial that you are flexible to travel to visit the locations of the customers of the Nordic Region. You can expect 40 traveling days per year.

Together with the CCO, you have a clear mandate to set the direction for the region, which means that you have significant influence on a strategic level.
