We are searching for a Platform engineer

This position is based at our friendly office in Warsaw or Roskilde and you will join our domain Data & Cloud. The team is in charge of several of our Business Intelligence platforms.

The position as platform engineer offers the opportunity to work within PowerCenter and to be part of our Azure cloud transition for our Business Intelligence Dataware house. At bec, we prefer to collaborate often in the office, but we also keep the opportunity to work remotely up to eight days per month. Your direct manager will be Nicolai Johansen.

Primary task and responsibilities include:

• Supporting Data Warehouse transition from on-premise to Azure cloud
• Operations and maintenance of Informatica PowerCenter
• Incident fixing
• Partaking in optimizing of existing and new solutions
• Ensuring stability on platforms within ownership
• Supporting BI teams

To succeed you will have:

• Proven and documented experience within server administration, PowerCenter administration or similar
• Infrastructure knowledge (E.g. Cluster, networking, storage)
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• A curious mind with an open nature and desire to knowledge-share with others

It’s nice-to-have:

• Experience with code (Preferable PowerShell, Python or SQL)
• Business Intelligence knowledge
• Azure knowledge
