Finance Business Partner

Then you might be our new Finance Business Partner for Ammongas, which is a new strategic pillar in European Energy’s business portfolio. You will become a part of a Finance Team of 85 dedicated and competent colleagues.

Your new role

This is a newly created role and you can look forward to being a co-creator in shaping it in close collaboration with the CEO for Ammongas. You will be working close to the business, and be responsible for establishing new business processes as well as building and improving reporting systems and routines for our projects. You will support the business by providing financial analysis and insights to facilitate decision-making. In close collaboration with different departments, e.g. Sales, Project, Operations, and the European Energy Finance Team, you will develop budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.

Your role will include:

Business Partnering

• Conducting profitability and cost analysis to identify areas of improvement and recommend solutions.
• Providing support to senior management in the development of long-term financial models and scenarios.
• Participate in bids and contracts.
• Assist in providing data for procurement.
• Collaborating with project managers to develop budgets, forecasts, and financial plans for projects.

Reporting Cycle

• Developing and establishing new processes and procedures to improve financial reporting for our projects.
• Building and maintaining a robust reporting system for projects, including analysis and insights into project performance and proposal development.
• Preparing and analyzing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to management and the owners, and participating in presenting.
• Managing cash flows, including forecasting and monitoring of cash balances and working capital.

Job prerequisites

• A degree in Management Accounting, HD, or similar.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a role as Business Controller or equivalent, preferably in the manufacturing, engineering, or energy industry.
• You are proficient in written and spoken English.
• Advanced skills in MS Office, particularly Excel, and you have worked in depth with ERP systems, preferably Business Central and you have worked with financial modeling tools.

You possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to identify trends and patterns in financial data to be utilized for management support, preparing business cases, and improving proposals. Your communication and interpersonal skills are well-developed, and you enjoy collaborating with many different stakeholders.
