In this role, you will work closely with the Country Director, and the function heads, in order to drive performance, create insights, help shape market operations, strategy, and long-term scaling efforts. In addition, you will provide operational support, help architect and drive key programs that deliver outsized value for JET DK, its partners and customers.
In order to drive innovation and cross functional alignment, you will work closely across and with functions including sales, logistics, product, technology, business intelligence and marketing departments. You will also work closely with Global CCOO office and Program managers in other JET markets to share best practises, lessons and learnings.
Our story began in 2001, when Just Eat was established in Denmark, with a mission to make the most of every food moment. In 2014 we really became a global family when we became stock listed and conquered the foodworld! However, we did not stop there - in 2020 we merged together with Takeaway.com and our culinary family has its headquarters in Amsterdam. Today, we are spreading the scent of delicious meals, tasty groceries, and meeting convenience needs in a total of 20 countries – ranging from Canada, Germany, and Australia to Israel, Switzerland, and Belgium.
Your primary responsibility will be to develop, influence and execute the strategy of the fast growing food delivery market. In addition, you will be responsible for:
In this role you will be working closely with the Country Director on an everyday basis. You will be the project manager of many different projects all centred around our strategy. In addition you will also work together with the management team to make sure that they are up to speed and delivering on the projects where they are involved. If the Country Director is “out of town” you are expected to take charge of everyday business to ensure that we deliver on what we promise - everyday.

You have at least 5 years of experience at top tier strategy consulting firm or have previous experience in at least one of the following: fast growth startup, business operations role in tech and/or FMCG brand, investment banking, or private equity.

Your primary responsibility will be to develop, influence and execute the strategy of the fast growing food delivery market. In addition, you will be responsible for:
- Support and shape the delivery of the core strategic planning processes - including commercial strategy, and budget planning.
- Drive monthly and quarterly business performance review cycles for the country.
- Work in close collaboration with the Country Director and country management team to drive performance leveraging the right balance enablers.
- Collaborate cross functionally to unblock, unlock and drive change, driving strategic projects and ensure the organisation is exceeding targets and on track for key initiatives
- Foster strong working relationships across Country Management, Sales & Operations, Product & Tech, Marketing, Legal, PMO & Finance, and identify and manage dependencies across teams and disciplines.
- Support country management teams to execute processes efficiently, ensuring that internal tools solutions keep up to date with our changing business needs.
- Establish delivery and project management best practices and ways of working into teams, to develop planning and execution of work.

What do we expect?
You have at least 5 years of experience at top tier strategy consulting firm or have previous experience in at least one of the following: fast growth startup, business operations role in tech and/or FMCG brand, investment banking, or private equity.
- You have a strong business and commercial acumen, with the ability to structure programs delivery within a framework that clearly augments financial and operational goals.
- Strong ability to lead leadership teams and complex stakeholder environment locally and globally.
- Motivated by driving complex operational and strategic global projects.
- Excellent strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to synthesise complex information and develop clear, actionable recommendations.
- Confident at developing narratives for executive audiences, presenting concepts and ideas to a wide range of contributors and ExCo-level stakeholders
- A team player who collaborates effectively with others, as well as work independently as needed.
- Fluent in English, written and spoken.
