An amazing opportunity has arisen to take the lead in the continued development of the Canon UK & Ireland Mid Term Plan (MTP)
In this high profile role you will be responsible for managing the strategic planning process and framework for the CUKI organisation. Working in collaboration with the Exec Team, Business Units and Support functions to deliver a robust and timely mtp process that drives profitable growth for our business.
This will include the facilitation for the creation of the plans and ongoing review and measurement of success against defined KPIs. You will also support the CUKI business to translate the strategy into actionable and measurable initiatives as part of our annual go to market planning.

What we ask
- Develop & manage the MTP strategic framework for CUKI along with Managing Director, CUKI Exec team, BU Heads and CEL Strategyfunctions. This includes relevantdocumentation, working practices and reporting cadence.
- Provide market insight and intelligence to inform the strategic decisions made by CUK/I
- Build the strategic plan for each of the BUs &support functions on a rolling 3-year cycle. Arrange/facilitate regular workshops to build these headline strategic plans, help initiative leaders to construct the documentation and ultimately
track performance and delivery. - Work with Finance and Business Administration to build the P&L expectations of each BU mtp and link this process into the ongoing budget process.
- Manage communication process for the mtp plans acrossthe CUKI organisation. Includes presentat ions at relevant Exec, Ops & BU Management meetings and also working with Internal Comms to align messages into kick-off and other key communication platforms.
- Act as liaison point between the mtp process and the strategic programme managersto align on project delivery as part of the overall mtp process.
- Ad-hoc project management tasks on behalf of the MDs Office where capacity allows.
You will need
As the CUKI Strategy Manager, you will possess the following skills and expertise;
- Strong commercial acumen
- Excellent project/programme management experience, with a proven track record of delivery
- Business knowledge of Canon, competitors and our markets is preferred
- Delivery within a matrix management environment and to tight deadlines
- Ability to ensure prioritisation during times of competing requirements through exceptional influencing skills
- Persuasive facilitation, networking and collaboration skills
- Excellent communication skills – written, verbal, face to face
- Ability to navigate complexity and provide simple and understandable outcomes
