Opportunity

Maersk Air Cargo (MAC) has a vast experience in air freight within Europe and currently has a fleet of almost 20 Boeing 767 freighters. Operating out of Cologne and Leipzig, Germany, and Billund, Denmark. We are soon expanding our portfolio with 2 Boeing 777s to support our own long-haul operation out of Billund, Denmark.

We are headquartered in Lyngby, Denmark, and are now looking for a Student Assistant.

What you'll be doing:

Maersk Air Cargo has obtained an “end-use” license from the Danish authorities. This license gives the right to import aircraft parts duty and VAT free, and demands us to register all imports of aircraft parts and record the instalment of these on our aircrafts.

Your job will be to do this registration in both a dedicated excel sheet and into our inventory system using the email import notifications from our forwarders in Copenhagen and Cologne. Beside that, reports to the Danish and German authorities must be made on the background of this data.

As well as the above jobs, we hope there also will be time for you to help us with creating and registration of all the new parts we will receive for the new B777 operation in the beginning of 2024.

The job will give you an insight in the challenges and daily routines of the part and tool logistics behind a modern and expanding airliner.

Work hours will be 15 hours a week inside normal working hours and on location in Lyngby.

We are looking for:

• Excel and Outlook knowledge.
• General IT knowledge.
• Structured and detail orientated.
• Service minded.
• Can work independently.
• Excellent communication skills in Danish, both written and verbally

A minimum of 12 months of education left before graduation will be preferred.

Teamwork is a key element in your approach to your work. Pragmatic problem-solving is part of your mentality and you find great pleasure in overcoming various obstacles while following through on initiatives. Needless to say, you have an open and fair approach to others.

Candidates must be able to work and reside in Denmark without company sponsorship.
