About this opportunity

You will join the Strategy Execution team in GBS Management Oversight, placed under the biggest unit of Nordea: Group Business Support. GBS drives optimisation of our operational efficiencies, letting the Business Areas focus on what they do best, to serve our customers and drive income growth initiatives. GBS Management Oversight consists of risk specialists and generalists that have a wide range of responsibilities and work closely together to always help and challenge each other. Strategy Execution is a team that owns Management Oversight’s strategic direction and is the competence centre for regulatory activities, internal rules oversight and strategic key initiatives, amongst other responsibilities.

We are a critical unit that is well-positioned and exposed to the leadership team in GBS and the rest of the Bank. As our new Strategic Partner, you will step into a central and important role, supporting management on strategic decision making and driving risk management projects with high complexity, ensuring a real impact on the business.

You will drive change management in an effective way and ensure proactive and close collaboration with key stakeholders across the organization to maximize results. You will also partner with fellow risk managers to secure the business objectives are adequately managed and implemented. This is where your expertise is needed to support Management Oversight on strategic risk management assignments, which will directly impact on the financial performance, efficiency, competitiveness and overall success of Nordea.

What You will be doing:
You’ll join the Strategy Execution team in GBS Management Oversight. The role can be based in Sweden, Finland, Poland or Estonia.
