About the job

Your responsibilities:
As a Datacenter Specialist in our Datacenter Private Cloud, you will build and expand our service provider VMware platforms together with your team. You and the team are responsible for automating standard tasks and contributing to the development of our private cloud platform(s) as a whole.

You and the team are also responsible for continually developing and modernizing our platforms. The team consists of specialists in several heavy technology areas (servers, networks, virtualization, etc.). In your role as a Datacenter Specialist, you will acquaint yourself with several technology areas, giving you the opportunity to specialize within a specific area, or alternatively become a generalist.

In brief, ITM8’s Datacenter Private Cloud holds the overall responsibility for our platforms, from which we provide services and guidance to our customers and brands within the ITM8 group.

What do you bring?
There are many approaches to this position, but to tackle the task, it is important that you have knowledge of VMware technologies, possibly supplemented with relevant certifications and experience and insight in the following: networks, storage, and VMware (vCenter, ESXi, Cloud Director, NSX-T, etc.).

Additionally, you must have significant experience with scripting – primarily Powershell – and a broad understanding of the IT area, particularly within IT outsourcing, along with a deeper knowledge of storage and virtualized storage, and perhaps even other virtual platforms.
