We are looking for an Intern with an analytical mindset, good communications skills, and a passion for the humanitarian medical agenda for a 5-month internship in the Advocacy and Analysis Unit (AAU) at our office in Copenhagen.

The purpose of the AAU Intern is to support advancing MSF’s advocacy agenda in Denmark. MSF provides humanitarian medical assistance to all patients around the world according to their needs regardless of who they are and where they come from.

With the AAU team, the Intern will support all ongoing activities and priorities of the AAU unit. This will include conducting analysis and research on key humanitarian and global health agendas and supporting initiatives to increase awareness of MSF’s humanitarian and medical priorities among different audiences in Denmark through events, campaigns, and different outreach activities.

The Intern will have the opportunity to focus on a specific topic of the Intern’s own choice and conduct related research and analysis. This will be defined in collaboration with the AAU team during the initial weeks of the internship.

  • Stay up to date about MSF’s international humanitarian and medical priorities and guidelines.
  • Participate in developing, implementing, and evaluating MSF advocacy strategies and plans.

Public outreach and engagement initiatives

  • Produce advocacy-related outreach material and event toolkits that creatively conveys and communicates humanitarian and medical topics for different audiences.

As an integral part of the AAU team and MSF Denmark, the Intern will contribute actively to maintaining a positive teamwork spirit and support colleagues with joint tasks or in times of need of extra hands.

Qualifications

To be considered for the position, candidates must be enrolled in university in a relevant field of studies, e.g., political science/global politics, human rights, health/global health, during the 2024 spring semester.
