We are looking for a tech savvy development director with extensive leadership experience.
Credit Risk has the responsibility for delivering and maintaining modern, efficient and compliant Credit Risk services in BEC. This covers development and maintenance of applications, reporting platforms and best practice as well as assisting other areas of BEC in their business deliveries. The development domain consists of 70 employees in 7 teams.

As new Development Director you will be leading the way in these efforts, and you will report to the Head of Business Innovation, Troels Ottesen.

The position can be based out of either our offices in Roskilde, Herning or Warsaw.

Primary task and responsibilities
In the position as Development Director, you will work closely with other directors within delivery in the Business Innovation division. You will work with customers of BEC and the management team in your own domain. You will have frequent interfaces with the Product and Demand organisation, Enterprise & Domain Architects and Operations experts in BEC to secure compliant and high quality deliveries as well as cross-company collaboration.

Your primary tasks and responsibilities will include:

  • Live and lead BEC’s leadership foundation
  • Drive the transformation of BEC in cooperation with BEC’s team of Directors
  • Develop and lead your management team
  • Communicate with key stakeholders and collect and share feedback
  • Build and develop high performing teams in both Denmark and Poland to enable them to effectively deliver backlog and define teams’ mission
  • Proactively identify and prioritize high-level maintenance tasks to ensure platforms, systems and data is in good condition
  • Risk accountable; identifying, monitoring, and mitigating any risk within line of work
  • Give input and ultimate commitment on scope, budget, and timeline for delivery of entire domain backlog
  • Ensure development is in line with architectural principles and guidelines
  • Ensure teams has necessary budget, resources, approvals, and other support
  • Ensure transparency on decisions, progress, and results

To succeed you will have:
You have an educational background at Master’s level and several years of experience from a similar position working with transformation and building it-solutions – ideally with regulatory or risk management systems. You will also have several years of experience building and leading development teams – preferable across borders.
