Verisure Denmark is seeking a talented Privacy Specialist with a strong commercial mindset and a passion for Compliance to join our growing and successful Danish business. This tremendous transition in a global Customer centric company has strengthened the importance of a self-driven Privacy Specialist with strong business acumen.
The Privacy Specialist will be a member of the Danish legal team and report to the Head of Legal. The Privacy Specialist will also be part of the North Cluster with close cooperation between the team colleagues in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Germany and the Netherlands. The role is based in Copenhagen.
The successful candidate will thrive in a fast pace, agile, international, and entrepreneurial business environment and will be a key player and work closely with the teams across primarily the Danish business functions. Advising in a wide range of GDPR and compliance areas across the business with focus on following:
- Design, drive and implement and improve GDPR and compliance programs and processes
- Management of Data-processing agreements and audits
- Handling Data protection agency cases, Data breaches and SARS
- Art 30 and one trust operation
- Monitor key regulatory and legal trends relevant for the business
- Planning, implementing, and conducting compliance training to the business units
- Support on Product compliance and product launches related to GDPR
- Ad hoc matters related to GDPR and compliance
- Depending on local business needs from time to time, additional legal support primarily in the areas of consumer and marketing law.

Experiences and Qualifications
- Master’s degree with some years of relevant professional experience, ideally with a deep understanding of both the European and international legal privacy landscape, product technology, IT, data & analytics.
- The ideal candidate will have experience of driving impact across complex organizations and will have a proven track record of having a strong positive impact on privacy maturity in a consumer facing, technology-based company.
- Demonstrated experience of critically analyzing existing and forthcoming regulation to understand and anticipate possible impact on Company products, services and business operations.
- Strong track record of impactful project management, drafting and presentation.
- Fluency in Danish and English language.
