Local Engagement Manager (parental cover)
Would it motivate you to work with local engagement and community interaction related to renewable energy projects? Then this is your chance to become part of a rapidly growing company as our new Local Engagement Manager.
European Energy is a green company in exponential growth. We develop, construct, and operate projects within solar- (PV) and wind farms globally, as well as Power-to-X. Our core values are the foundation of everything we do: In it together, Trust and courage, Ambition, Excitement, Inclusion, and Agility.
You will be part of a growing and energetic Communications team consisting of 15 colleagues located in Denmark, Sweden, Poland, and Germany. Our working approach is project-oriented, and we handle everything from PR, regulatory affairs, marketing and branding, video production, SoMe, to internal communications tasks and local engagement.
We have an aspiration to work more with engaging local communities when we develop our projects through commitment and involvement. We believe that the local communities wish to engage if we as a company give opportunities for involvement in our renewable projects.
As our Local Engagement Manager, you will be responsible for implementing local engagement tools in the organization and take part in developing a new strategy on local engagement – externally and internally. You work closely with our Project Development teams in our different markets in adapting the strategy locally to ensure a stronger backup to our projects. Furthermore, you will work together with our Sustainability team in implementing ESRS standards for our Community Engagement work.
The position is a parental cover with start as soon as possible. It will end at the end of 2024, but with the possibility of extension.
European Energy is a Danish privately owned company founded in 2004. We operate all the way from development, construction, operation and selling of wind- and photovoltaic (PV) farms on land as well as offshore globally. Further, we work with development of the future energy solutions, e.g. Power-to-X. We have a solid collaboration with local stakeholders and want to involve all parts in the process.
We are now more than 700 employees with over 40 nationalities represented in 20 countries. We all work for our common goal to be the most innovative partner within the green transition and to create The Power of Tomorrow, Today.
