Opgaver

• The Machining Specialist is responsible for the following:• To develop the machining process to produce customer components.• To have direct customer contact and fully understand requirements and support their customers in design optimization to give lower production costs.• To develop both machining tools and CNC programs and verify them through 3D simulation.• To implement items in cooperation with Site colleagues.• To optimize the production processes by introducing new and improved methods and tools or by optimizing the CNC programs.You will be based in the office, but you will also provide the technical support. What makes them different is the factories which are placed all over the world. They have a group function which this position is part of. The group function support all the factories and you will support all the contact towards customers.

Profil

• Experience: industrial technician education “Industrytekniker” is the background which they are looking for. A background in machining is also needed and a candidate who knows the processes is needed. A mechanical engineering or naval engineering education is also acceptable. Someone who is independent in their knowledge and in their decision-making processes. Professional qualifications:• The candidate should be an industrial technician or similar engineering background. • Extensive theoretical and practical CNC skills and experience • Experienced at using Advanced Siemens G-Code programming EdgeCam, Solid Works, Vericut SW • Being able to speak up and clearly communicate, with the customers, internal and external stakeholders. Candidate has to be able to take things and projects from zero and mature them until its ready for serial production. You will make the programs and take them through the processes until the machining process. Customer contact is crucial; helping the customers with whatever might be needed but also by making suggestions, “how can things be made better and cheaper”. Baettr is not a silent partner, and they will make optimal suggestions to improve their customers’ product. Moreover, there is a quality aspect. Sometimes customers will make requirements which are not able to meet and they will make proposals which are more feasible.
