Arbit Cyber Defence Systems specializes in cybersecurity with focus on network protection. They develop and produce a range of certified and accredited Cross Domain Solutions for high security networks. Their Arbit Data Diode and the Arbit TRUST Gateway solve the challenges of running high security networks (disconnected/air gapped/galvanic) as they ensure seamless transfer of data including integration with Multi Engine Virus scanning and Data Sanitization. Customers primarily are in Intelligence, Armed Forces, National Government, Police and Defence Industry across Europe, North Africa, and Asia. The position

As CTO you will play a key role in this growth phase of the company, being responsible for the development of the R&D team consisting of currently eight hardware and software developers, and the team is growing.The tasks of the development team are to build customer-specific features as well as making sure the existing products are maintained and developed. As a people manager, it is important that you ensure that each individual is highly motivated and succeed in their job, feel ownership of their tasks and are passionate about the high results of their team work.

You are expected to make sure that the R&D projects are developed in the expected quality and in time for the planned product releases, and you act as the Project Manager of these projects. This will also include a close cooperation with the commercial and technical teams – as well as having contact with their international or Danish customers fulfilling their requirements.You will report to the CIO, and you will be part of the Arbit Management Team as soon as you are settled in the role.
Personal & professional skills

You get energy from setting the direction, and you are proud to be an inspiration for your team members. You are motivated by heading up a team with strong and highly skilled specialists and you have a strong will to be moving them forward as individuals and as a team. You probably have a degree in Engineering, Computer Science or similar from a technical university and you have some years of experience leading development teams. Project Manager experience is a great plus.

You naturally challenge status quo while respecting the individual and the history. You are proactive and highly ambitious about developing great products. Also, this role demands a very good understanding of cybersecurity issues in military forces or large enterprises – and previous experience from network protocols or security is a plus.You have excellent analytical and problem solving skills and have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Also, you possess excellent communication and presentation skills – and have a great sense of humour. Fluency in both Danish and English is necessary.Due to the high level security concerning Arbit customers as well as their own certifications, it is required that you can maintain a security clearance of level SECRET.The company offers
