As our new Commercial Excellence Manager, you will be responsible for implementing training and development programs that optimize the effectiveness of BD & Sales. This includes improving sales skills, deploying and refining sales processes, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and ensuring alignment with Terma’s overall business objectives.

Enhance overall sales performance and efficiency within Terma’s BD & Sales Organization
In this newly created position, you will be responsible for implementing and anchoring the Terma way of selling and enhancing customer engagement skills across the commercial frontline. You will play a crucial role in optimizing overall effectiveness of our sales teams through optimization of sales processes and the supporting toolbox.

Moreover, your responsibilities will cover:

  • Ownership of the global sales process and toolbox.
  • Ownership of our commercial academy incl. learning and development journey.
  • Responsibility for fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement through coaching and feedback.
  • Responsibility for key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess sales team effectiveness and performance.
  • Responsibility for leading sales excellence community and support it when needed.
  • Support development and implementation of sales enablement strategies, providing tools and resources to empower the sales team.

A part of your new role will also be to foster strong collaboration between BD, Sales and supporting functions to ensure a cohesive and customer-centric approach across the organization.

How to succeed in this position?
To succeed in this position, we imagine that you have:

  • A relevant background, preferably with a master’s degree within business, economics, or a related commercially oriented field.
  • A minimum of 5-8 years of experience working with Sales excellence, Commercial excellence or Learning & Development.
  • A strong business acumen and a deep understanding of Sales and/or Key account management.
  • A proven track record within Sales and/or Sales process facilitation.
