You will be a part of European Energy Latvia, which consists of 5 colleagues working from the country office in Riga. You will also have a close collaboration with our HQ in Copenhagen, Denmark, specifically with the corporate finance department.

Together with financial partners, European Energy owns large holdings of farming and forestry land in Latvia. As a Land Fund Manager you will be responsible for managing these land properties in Latvia. You will ensure that we comply with our obligations as owner and lessor and make sure that tenants comply with its obligations related to operating these lands as lessee and cooperates with European Energy regarding energy projects development, construction and operation -related decisions.

Your New Role - Accelerate your Career
Together with financial partners, European Energy owns large holdings of farming and forestry land in Latvia. As a Land Fund Manager you will be responsible for managing these land properties in Latvia. You will ensure that we comply with our obligations as owner and lessor and make sure that tenants comply with its obligations related to operating these lands as lessee and cooperates with European Energy regarding energy projects development, construction and operation -related decisions.

Key Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day practicalities with land management for the lands jointly owned by European Energy and its financial partners
- Manage land registry issues for the lands
- Ensure compliance with Latvian legislation as landowner
- Handle communication with authorities and tenants
- Handle lease and related tax issues with the tenants in cooperation with European Energy finance department
- Handle reporting and compliance with state authorities as owner of the lands
- Manage reporting to land owners
- Support and advise renewable energy project managers on land related matters
- Participate with and support colleagues on acquiring additional land or divesting land not suitable for renewable energy projects, especially from technical execution point as well as discussing easement agreements for European Energy renewable energy projects
Your Profile
- You have a degree in Agriculture, Forestry, Agronomy, Finance, Real estate management or similar
- You have relevant experience with land administration, agriculture, or forestry
- You have experience in managing regulatory issues related to farming and land management
- You have experience in reporting to both external authorities and management/owners
- You have excellent Latvian and English language skills
- You have a driving license
