What you’ll be doing

As a Junior Citrix Desktop Engineer at Nobia, you will be part of the Microsoft, hosting and Virtualization team. Assist in implementing our new Citrix desktop environment and maintenance of our Citrix estate hosting 3D graphics for centralized CAD solutions with vGPUs. Citrix on XenServer Hypervisor. Help locating stability and efficiency issues of our IT infrastructure. You will work with other IT teams and collaborate on cross-functional projects.

Your tasks will among others be:

• Implement, and maintain Citrix (XenDesktop/XenApp) solutions.
• Ensure the availability, performance, and security of Citrix.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Citrix related issues, providing timely support to end-users by assisting 1st line and creating KB-Articles.
• Monitor performance and implement improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless application usage on Citrix
• Maintain and support the physical datacentre hosting infrastructure.
• Document configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps to maintain an accurate and up-to-date knowledge base.

Your qualifications:

We are looking for someone who are willing to learn how to run, and maintain a Citrix Provisioned image, with the focus of the end user experience. Knowledge of AD and Windows servers.
Have the right mindset, willingness to take ownership on tasks, staying calm in a hectic environment, and maintaining a positive attitude, while assisting with troubleshooting complex system interactions.

Experience in the following would be preferable but not essential:

• Experience working with Citrix XenApp/Desktop.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
