Student Assistant, Project Development – Spanish team

Are you a Spanish-speaking committed student looking to get hands-on experience in Project Development of renewable energy? Then you might be our new Student Assistant!

European Energy is a green company in exponential growth. We develop, construct, and operate projects within solar- (PV) and wind farms globally, as well as Power-to-X. The team

You will get an essential role in the Spanish team in Project Development consisting of 9 full-time colleagues whereof 6 are located in Spain, 2 in Portugal, and 1 in Denmark. You will be located at the headquarter in Søborg, Denmark, and will mainly support Thomas – Head of Development, Spain.

One of the team’s main objectives is project management for the Spanish and Portuguese markets. We screen for new opportunities and develop existing projects. As our Student Assistant, you will be involved in a broad range of practical tasks and you will get insight into the full project phase from screening and early development to construction.

In collaboration with experienced and motivated colleagues, you will support the development of wind and solar (PV) projects, which will give you a technical, financial, and administrative understanding of renewable energy assets.

Main responsibilities

  • You will assist the Head of Development, Spain, with a variety of tasks
  • You will help prepare a variety of presentations related to the team’s development activities
  • You will contribute to the management of our guarantees portfolio
  • You will support the structuring and organization of our document control
  • You will help communicate with external partners and suppliers via email and phone calls
  • You will participate in weekly internal as well as external team meetings and help do meetings minutes
  • You will assist with ad hoc tasks, e.g. documentation in our Project Management tool

Profile

  • You are currently studying a Master’s degree at the university level or an equivalent institution
  • You are fluent in Spanish and are proficient in English, oral and written
  • You are a confident user of Excel and PowerPoint
  • You might know of PVSyst, WindPro, and GIS, but is not a requirement.

As a person, you are friendly, curious, and open to talking to external partners as well as other departments to get the needed data. You have an energetic approach to your work, are open-minded, and most important – you are eager to learn and contribute to the team.
