The company

Atlas Copco Crépelle is a factory of 80 people located in Lille in the North of France.

Integrated into the Atlas Copco industrial group (+50,000 people), we have been developing and manufacturing high-pressure industrial compressors since 1837. Both a manufacturing plant and a skills center for the group, we work on customer orders and R&D projects.

The duties of the position

As part of the company's development, we are recruiting an Electricity Studies Engineer M/F on a permanent basis.

As a specialist engineer in the electrical field, you will be integrated into several project teams.

As part of these projects, you will be required to:

- Provide support for design and sizing studies of installations and electrical equipment integrated into our compressors such as motors, sensors, cables, electrical cabinets, etc.

- Establish and monitor the motor and sensor database

- Write the technical specifications and specifications for electrical equipment in accordance with the client's specifications and the norms and standards in force

- Assist the Purchasing Department in relations with our suppliers and compare the offers received

- Inspect/receive electrical equipment

- Establish basic electrical plans

- Be in contact with other study disciplines (mechanical engineer, designer, calculation engineers, project managers, etc.)

- Monitor the completion of detailed studies

- Provide technical support to the various Services (commercial / pre-projects, assembly, after-sales / after-sales service)

- Analyze and validate the work of collaborators (electrical diagrams, choice of components, etc.)

The profile

Qualifications

Engineer or academic Bac +5 in electrical engineering, you have initial experience on similar issues in engineering or design offices.

You have knowledge of the design and sizing of electrical installations.

You are autonomous and capable of managing several projects of varying technical complexity at the same time.

You are proficient in AutoCAD and possibly other electrical design tools.

Knowledge of automation/programming, although not obligatory, is a plus.

Work carried out in an international context with collaborators, suppliers and customers. A very good level of written and oral French and English are mandatory.
