The 24x7x365 Operations/monitoring center, and Service Desk, in Copenhagen is working on 3 shift on-site rota and supporting DK restricted accounts hosted in the Copenhagen datacenters. The function acts as both servicedesk and operations/monitoring center.
o DXC are seeking skilled employees for our 24x7 Servicedesk and Monitoring Function within IT Operations.
o As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing efficient support, operation, and monitoring for our clients IT systems around the clock.
Your job will be:
o Responding to and resolving inquiries from users via phone, email, and ticketing sys-tems.
o Monitoring servers, systems, and networks to identify and address potential issues.
o Troubleshoot and resolve common IT issues.
o Escalate complex issues to the relevant team.
o Document and register incidents in the ticketing system.
o Provide proactive support and guidance to users.
o Identify and respond to potential threats and security issues.
o Documenting support activities and generating reports on system performance.
o Collaborating closely with other teams to ensure swift and effective issue resolution.
o Adhering to service level agreements and ensuring customer needs are met within defined
Your professional competencies:
o Experience in IT support and technical troubleshooting.
o Familiarity with IT infrastructure, including networks, operating systems, and applications.
o Ability to work independently as well as in teams in a fast-paced environment.
o Excellent communication skills in both English and Danish, both written and verbal.
o Problem-solving and analytical approach.
o Flexibility to work in shifts and on weekends on-site at DXC Datacentres
Other requirements:
For the profiles applying, profiles must be eligible to be Danish Security cleared to work for the secured accounts. Applicants should have been living in Denmark for more than 5 years and need to be fluent in Danish.
