Test and Systems Engineer

On behalf of Emerson, we are looking for a Test and Systems Engineer to join their team in Rødkærsbro. Your main responsibilities will include testing both hardware and software for the electrical pitch system, as well as working on pitch system-related projects and testing new sub-supplier products.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Performing tests and verification according to the relevant standards
• Error correction and design updates in cooperation with the design team
• Reviewing specifications and documentation
• Supporting the organization and supplier reviews
• Providing on-site support and commissioning when needed

At the moment, there are some very exciting development projects in the pipeline, so you should expect some ad-hoc assignments in the team.

The person we are looking for

We are looking for an experienced test engineer who also thrives in a systems/development role. Your key function will be within the test environment; however, you will be working very closely with the design engineers.

We are looking for someone who has:

• A relevant background in electronics or IT
• Experience with electrical hardware and software testing
• Knowledge and some experience with Python, C++, and Test Link (or a similar Test Management System)
• A good overall understanding and knowledge of electrical components

You should be aware that there will be some travel activity in this job – up to 30 days/year. Additionally, you should probably not have a fear of heights, as some of the travel activities will be to sites around the world.

Your primary work location will be in Rødkærsbro, with the opportunity to work from home some days after a thorough introduction to the product and company.
