Are you driven to make a positive impact to our product portfolio with the help of data? Do you want to support your colleagues in making everyday life more transparent and enabling the business to take decisions based on facts? Rosendahl Design Group is looking for a process-oriented PLM Manager who can support the commercial side of our business by translating data into insights & advice that serve as a qualified decision-making basis for our commercial teams, as well as senior management.

Your overall area of responsibility and your role will be to:

  • Develop and document the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) process
  • Facilitate the PLM process end-to-end across relevant functions
  • Ensure commercial management of innovations in and out of product portfolio

Your tasks will include:

  • Develop and operate our PLM data tools
  • Drive the development of the long-term financial plan for our brands & product segments
  • Define RDG business case templates for development and implementation of products in the portfolio
  • Define RACI across the entire PLM process and ensure compliance
  • Document key decisions made
  • Collect and maintain product forecast on news in our planning system in the NPD process
  • Transfer of product forecast on new products to demand planning when products enter introduction stage

  • Portfolio productivity and profitability are continuously improved and meet objectives
  • Reduce total cost to serve
  • Maximize profits when taking products out of the assortment
  • Ensure buy-in to the PLM process across the organization including senior management

Most important competencies

Professional Skills:

  • Commercial understanding of sales and marketing
  • Value chain understanding including operational and financial impact
  • Data driven and extremely analytical
  • Superuser in Excel and PowerPoint

Human Skills:

  • Holistic thinker and value chain orientation
  • Excellent empathic stakeholder management that aims for win-win situations
  • Strategic and structured with a respect for RDG values and culture

You will be part of the Planning team and with reference to our Head of PLM and Supply Chain Planning.

Your profile

We expect you to have a higher education in the mercantile field, e.g. from business, economics, informatics, data or the like, and that you have 5-8 years of relevant practical experience within category management or similar. Experience in process & change management is a plus.

Further, we are also looking for the following qualities within a potential candidate:

  • Results-oriented with a good understanding of business
  • Highly analytical, experienced with both Excel and PowerBI
  • Knowledge of the data structure of ERP systems and a general understanding of data contexts
  • Ability to drive data and process analyses, explore business needs and problems from start to finish
  • Remarkable storyteller who uses PowerPoint with ease to get complex messages across to the audience in clear and concise ways
  • Effortless communication in English – both verbally and in writing
  • Danish language competency is an advantage but not a requirement
