FACILITY MANAGER FOR CRITICAL INFRASTRUCTURE IN STOCKHOLM

On behalf of Digital Realty, Kelly is searching for a Facility Manager. The increasing demand for IT infrastructure is clear, the Stockholm campus and data centers are strategically located to meet the need for business-critical IT infrastructure. In Facility they play a key role, ensuring everything in their data centers operates as it should for the customers. Their infrastructure consists of diesel generators, chillers, UPS, fire suppression systems and much more. It’s about understanding the importance of the data center infrastructure and collaborating closely with other teams across the business to maintain it effectively.

YOUR PRIMARY WORK TASKS

• You will oversee all aspects of the data centers, ensuring high-quality performance and minimizing any impact on the internal and external customers
• You will bring your technical expertise to guide and support your team, planning, coordinating, and managing the data center’s equipment, systems, and infrastructure.
• You will mentor a team of technicians, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, continuous improvement, and professional development
• Maintain business continuity, your team will be scheduled for day shifts and on-call rotations, with you serving as their primary point of escalation. This key role is an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact on infrastructure critical to our society

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience of managing a maintenance team with on call reasonability in a technical organization, supporting critical infrastructure
• Strong resource planning, administrative and leadership skills
• Knowledge of managing a team to meet KPIs
• Good technical/electrical and maintenance background
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical subject or equivalent
• Extensive engineering experience in an electro-technical or industrial/mechanical environment
• Fluent in both Swedish and English
