Does it motivate you to be on the frontline of the renewable energy business and handle the construction of renewable projects? Then perhaps you will be our new Construction Manager in Greece!

European Energy is a Danish green energy company experiencing exponential growth. We develop, construct, and operate wind and solar PV projects globally and are at the forefront of the emerging green hydrogen/Power-to-X sectors. Our core values are the foundation of everything we do: In it together, Trust and Courage, Ambition, Excitement, Inclusion, and Agility.

Your New Team

You will be a part of European Energy EPC, consisting of 120 colleagues working from our office in Søborg, Denmark, and across our countries in Europe, Brazil, and Australia where we have development and Construction activities.

We are a committed and motivated team where knowledge sharing, trust, and open dialogues describe the very core of our collaboration. Our project pipeline in Greece is rapidly growing, and you will be leading the construction activities in the market. Your New Role

The role will be based in Greece where we are about to enter the market with our first construction of a wind park consisting of six wind turbine generators (WTGs) in Chalcis, Euboea. Working within the structure of the European Energy Project Management Model (PMM) you will be responsible and accountable for the alignment of the EPC activities during the execution phase of our projects, starting from preparing projects for construction, mobilization of site, construction & installation, and commissioning. This will include working with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate and manage various technical and commercial activities.

You will be responsible for risk management, timeline management, cost management, HSE management, and reporting. An important part of this position also entails applying any lesson learned and continuously optimizing and streamlining our project management processes.

You will see yourself in an environment with many interesting tasks. You have solid interpersonal skills to engage with local suppliers, and in-house engineering departments, and be in close contact with developers.

  • Risk and mitigation planning for on-site works
  • Collaborate within cross-functional teams, including Engineers, Designers, Contractors, and Development Project Managers to optimize and develop projects from a techno-commercial point of view

Your Profile

  • You have a proven track record of Construction management preferably within the energy sector
  • You are fluent in Greek and English, both verbally and in writing
  • You have a valid driver’s license

  • You can work remotely & independently and be self-motivated within a supportive & collaborative company
  • You are a creative problem solver
  • You have a proactive and diligent approach
  • You can balance quality in the context of time & cost pressure.

We Offer

  • A minimum 2 years assignment with an aim of converting into full-time regular employment thereafter
  • An entrepreneurial approach to our work. In daily life, it means it is not far from thought to action
  • An opportunity to work with renewable energy in an established market with many projects being developed and realized
  • Trusted responsibilities with opportunities to grow, both personally and professionally
