What is the job about?

You'll become a valuable member of the Ddigital Test team of GT&I, within the CTO area which is dedicated to conceiving, developing, and introducing novel and impactful digital solutions to our division teams.

As a Verification Manager, you will play a key role in shaping the future of digital applications and at the heart of creating robust and scalable solutions that power our IoT ecosystem. Your work and emphasis will be on leading the end-to-end test activities for one of our value streams in the Industry division, you’ll collaborate closely with colleagues and cross-functional teams to create and deliver test excellence, while continuously enhancing our team's capabilities. You will also have to collaborate with platform teams and ensure they deliver services with agreed quality to the End-to-end solution. You will drive the test strategy of the and challenge the teams on the quality status and help to drive a culture of quality in the teams.

Your contributions:

Develop a comprehensive test strategy and detailed test plans.
Assess skills, competencies and tools required for testing.
Ensure relevant test documentation are created and maintained.
Track and report test progress including key test metrics.
Conduct defect triage meetings.
Define quality goals in collaboration with Quality Engineers.
Ensure the test environment is stable and consistent.
Identify potential testing risks and develop mitigation strategy.
Collaborate with Dev, Ops, UX, TPO, System Engineer & Integrator.
Identify areas for process improvement related to test.
Provide leadership and mentoring to test team members.
Promote a culture of quality within the project.
Ensure testing activities comply to relevant standards (ISO, TMMi.).
Generate and distribute test status reports and key KPI’s.

Your background (Experience with IoT and Microsoft Azure or a similar platform)

Hold a bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar.
Expertise is defining test strategies and roadmaps.
Collaborate with system engineers and ensure the requirements are sufficiently detailed.
Expert in creating test estimates, test reports and gathering metrics.
Collaborate with Quality engineer in the value stream to prepare the Go/No-Go report.
Must have led / guided teams and enabled continuous improvement.
Expertise in test tools and strategy
Guide and motivate the testers in the project.
