Job Description:

The Business Development Executive is responsible for ensuring that the CEO and the Cluster leadership has the content, data and insight required to operate in a fast changing, complex and dynamic environment. Working alongside the leadership team, the role supports the shaping of the Northern Europe strategy and agenda while assisting in driving execution of key initiatives, shaping the design of strategy and planning events.

The role holder will be required to keep a keen eye on dentsu’s movements and ensure that there is visibility to key processes, strong alignment across the business on key elements of the business plan and ensuring the seamless execution of projects across the Northern Europe cluster.

This role requires a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented individual with a strong background in project management. This role supports the cluster leadership team and has a direct reporting line to Northern Europe CEO.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Cluster Leadership: Manage assigned project deliverables such as market intelligence, market development indicators, Business Rhythm activities (QBR presentation), competitive landscape, economic, financial data gathering and conduct analysis etc. Facilitating the NE Cluster leadership team effectiveness by following up on action items, and providing timely updates, insights and challenges
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Facilitate communication, collaboration across various business areas, functions to ensure alignment and efficient project execution.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and report on key initiatives in collaboration with the executive cluster leads, such as developing business cases for new client services. Track and report on the progress of strategic client growth initiatives and projects, identifying potential delivery risks and developing mitigation strategies.
  • Business Intelligence: Providing timely and accurate business intelligence insight to the CEO on business performance and strategic planning.
  • Insights and Data Reporting: Actively monitoring of the external environment (the industry, our competitors and the global future trends), and using internal knowledge, networks and relationships, to raise topics that require the CEO’s attention and ensure that the CEO has an “ear to the ground". Collect and report insights and data on specified strategic activities, e.g. related to sustainability.
  • Meetings and administration: Planning and designing of agendas, presentations for meetings, liaising with key internal stakeholders to source the required inputs and data in an accurate and timely way.
  • Internal Community Coordination: Perform administrative support and coordination activities to various internal communities in NE such as those focused on growth solutions, ESG and best practices.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders such as NE country CEOs and leadership team, functional leaders, cluster and practice teams and key stakeholders throughout the Northern Europe and EMEA organisation, ensuring their needs and expectations are met and to facilitate alignment and engagement.

Skills Required:

  • Proven experience in project management.
  • Exceptional skills in PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Self-driven and able to find their own way.
  • Strong internal networking abilities.
