CBTC System Engineer

The transformation of the 80-year-old railway system to a fully automated operation sets a new standard for the industry. Therefore, we are looking for a CBTC System Engineer to join our project team. This challenge attracts experts from all over the world to Copenhagen, where DSB and [xxxxx]'s project organizations already employ more than 150 professionals, who all contribute with competencies at a high technical level.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Leading a critical role in the design, implementation, and maintenance process of CBTC systems
  
  
• Ensuring the successful delivery of safe, reliable, and efficient train control systems
  
  
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure the design meets the project requirements and complies with industry standards
  
  
• Serve as a technical lead in CBTC technologies, including train control principles, radio communications, interlocking systems, and wayside equipment

On top of that, you will have:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Master’s degree is not required, but advantageous
  
  
• Preferably 8+ years’ experience within CBTC system design, implementation and commissioning
  
  
• Excellent understanding of and experience with CBTC technologies, such as ATP and ATO, and associated communication protocols, and preferably experience with UTO driverless systems
  
  
• Strong experience in writing and handling CBTC functional and technical requirements
  
  
• Project management and leadership skills on a technical level
