Job Description:
The new BX (Business transformation) practice at dentsu Northern Europe (NE), will act as a strategic management consulting business for the client C-Suite focusing on a range of topics around corporate transformation focusing on a range of topics around corporate transformation from purpose and vision, sustainability, the growth of an existing business, creation of new businesses and internal transformations. Opportunity & Role Purpose
This is a crucial internal practice leadership as well as external client-facing role. It is a consultative strategy partner leading the NE BX team bringing a One Dentsu vision to prospective and existing clients, as well as leading the strategic direction and day-to-day running and growth development of the NE BX team. This role is responsible for building, selling and delivering projects that delivers on the BX budget revenue and margin.
This role reports to the Northern Europe CEO.

Opportunity & Role Purpose

Key Accountabilities
Core business areas of responsibility:
- Accountable for the set-up, growth and success of the Business Transformation practice.
- Use proven experience and understanding of industry best practices to present recommendations for the dentsu BX practice to build competitive edge
- Achieve the direct BX team revenue and indirect revenue target in 2025.
- Establish and run demand creation and pipeline acceleration activities that support growth targets.
- Identify leads, open clients, and win business
- Provide leadership to ensure that stated objectives are met and that there is the requisite sponsorship, alignment and support of all stakeholders connected with the practice.
- Promote the brand and reputation of dentsu and dentsu BX to drive client engagement and business growth
- Creating an industry-leading thought-leadership that elevates Dentsu’s stature among industry peers and strengthens Dentsu’s value proposition as a strategic transformation partner
- Accountable for the development of BX business strategy, multi-year business plans and yearly budgets for the BX practice in line with the global strategy and vision as well as Regional Plans
- Developing processes and structures that allow Bx to be managed as a standalone practice, this includes but is not limited to staffing & revenue / cost transparency, pipeline management in Salesforce, etc
- Lead the development of innovative and scalable service propositions that meet client needs and market demands
- Drive C-level network across NE
- Oversee the end-to-end service development process, including concept creation, design, testing, and implementation
- Ensure close collaboration with dentsu delivery arm to cross-fertilize BX
Core leadership areas of responsibility:
- Manage the operational aspects of the BX team including resource allocation, project management, and process improvement
- Develop and maintain a high-performing team through effective people management, training, and development
- Ensure BX-relevant rate cards chargebility rates are met
- Ensure operational excellence & efficiency in all aspects of service delivery
- Develop thought leadership that supports prospecting & lead generation
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities
- Drive knowledge management across NE for BX team.
Professional Skills
Critical for this role is the following combination of experience:
- Minimum of 7 years consulting experience within a leading consulting firm(s), and 5+ years client-side (industry) experience
- Deep C-suite experience and network, with an ability to deliver high and impactful client effectiveness by building deep & trusted relationships with an understanding of transformational leadership (both externally for clients & internally themselves)
- Proven toolkit, experience, and personal stamina to compete with well-established competitors
- Appropriate skills to understand, perform and sell the Dentsu BX Practice services in a way that enables external market competitiveness
- Strong business and growth acumen, including a good understanding of complex business models and trends, as well as the ability to identify and seize opportunities that move the business towards strategic goals and a track record of unlocking new business growth
- Start-up mindset, willingness to drive, resilience
- A track record in leading a high-growth business transformation consulting practice, incl. operational & team leadership & developing talent. Preferably experienced in establishing a, or part of a business consulting practice
- A senior strategic leader with business transformation experience on large and complex transformation programmes
- A strong people person. A natural leader, visionary, with charisma and gravitas, who can lead a team to generate measurable results
- Commitment to delivering creative & measurable solutions, and ability to align team members behind integrated solutions
- Adaptable, flexible and receptive to other ideas, views, able to find compromises to make all parties, markets staff, stakeholders own the outcomes
- A strong collaborator who can coordinate and influence a collective team-based client relationship across complex matrix structures, both internally and externally, and manage significant stakeholders and key industry relationships
- Strong International mindset with experience working across global/European brands in a matrix organisation
