Cloud Platform Engineer

About the role and key responsibilities

As a Cloud Platform Engineer, you will focus on designing, deploying, and managing our cloud infrastructure while playing an integral part in modernizing legacy infrastructure into scalable, cloud-native solutions.

You will implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using tools like Terraform & ARM templates. Your work will help ensure our Azure environment is scalable, reliable, and secure, while optimizing resource usage and automating routine processes. You will become part of a dedicated cloud team that drives our cloud initiatives across the organization and leads the transformation of legacy systems into modern cloud architectures.

Some of your key tasks will be:

• Design and deploy Azure resources using IaC tools to transform and modernize legacy infrastructure.

• Manage cloud networking and implement security architecture for both new cloud-native solutions and existing systems being migrated to the cloud.

• Develop CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps and automate infrastructure management, ensuring smooth transitions from legacy to modern infrastructure.

• Set up monitoring and create dashboards for visibility into infrastructure health, particularly in the context of legacy systems being integrated with cloud resources.

• Maintain Azure landing zones to ensure a consistent, secure, and efficient cloud environment for the organization’s new and ongoing projects.

• Assist new projects in building cloud solutions, ensuring alignment with cloud best practices and organizational standards.

You will report to our CISO, who also leads our cloud transformation efforts, and your primary workplace will be Brøndby. You will be part of a dedicated, cross-functional cloud team driving the organization’s cloud initiatives.

Your profile

• 3+ years of experience in cloud platform engineering.

• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, ARM templates, Bicep).

• Experience with cloud networking and security best practices.
  Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline development using Azure DevOps.
  Strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
