Key Responsibilities

• Inspire & Lead: Lead from the front fostering a motivating and engaging work environment.
  
  
• Operation: Ensure seamless training operations, aligning with the General Management System, industry standards, and regulations.
  
  
• Compliance & Quality: Oversee daily adherence to asset, facility, and competency standards.
  
  
• Innovation & Growth: Drive course development and ensure training programs meet evolving industry needs.
  
  
• Health, Safety & Environment: Enforce compliance with HSE policies, ensuring all activities align with safety and environmental objectives.
  
  

Specific Responsibilities

• Safety First: Uphold a strong safety culture, support HSE goals, and report performance to senior management.
  
  
• Training Coordination: Support the Planner in planning and executing training operations per company procedures.
  
  
• Instructor Management: Build and maintain a flexible high-performing consultant pool, considering customer needs and department cost. Participate as instructor when required.
  
  
• Financial Oversight: Track and manage OPEX costs for courses, modules, and services. Prepare reports.
  
  
• Talent Acquisition: Support General Manager with recruitment for Ops., support with onboarding, and staff development plans.
  
  
• Operational Efficiency: Ensure compliance, development, and continual improvement of training materials and equipment.
  
  
• Facility Standards: Ensure a well-maintained and organized training environment.
  
  
• Strategic Improvements: Identify operational enhancements and support senior management with projects.
  
  
• Industry Expertise: Stay updated on global standards and best practices and ensure course material is compliant in cooperation with area responsibles.
  
  
• Contract Management: Provide input on subcontractor agreements.
  
  
• Train-the-Trainer (TTT) Programs: Develop, maintain, and deliver TTT initiatives in collaboration with relevant teams.
  
  

We are looking for

• Prior experience as an Instructor is a prerequisite for this role, with a strong track record in delivering high-quality training.
  
  
• Knowledge of OPITO, GWO, and STCW standards is essential, ensuring that all training complies with industry regulations and best practices.
  
  
• Proven leadership experience with the ability to foster a collaborative and positive training environment, inspiring and guiding team members to achieve high standards of performance.
  
  
• A strategic mindset, with the ability to drive operational excellence, innovate training practices, and continuously enhance the quality of the programs offered.
  
  
• Live in Esbjerg or surrounding areas (preferred)
  
  
• Fluent in both Danish and English, both spoken and written
