The Team
As our new Associate, you will join our M&A and Asset Financing team at our Headquarters in Søborg, Copenhagen. The team currently has 22 committed colleagues and one Student Assistant, and we are responsible for managing our divestments as well as the project and asset financing of our assets.
We lead all projects, portfolio divestments, partnerships, and financing transactions, managing them from origination to closing. Additionally, we take the lead on financial modelling, investor management, and negotiations with investors and financing banks. We strive to develop and maintain long-term relationships while promoting competitive processes. Our department is part of the newly established CCO organization, which has a holistic and strategic focus on ’s sales activities.
How you will create an impact
You will support on M&A and Project Financing transactions which as an example involves create and maintain financial models, structuring VDRs, and preparing marketing materials such as teaser and IMs, other presentations, and economic analyses for different markets and projects. You will be an active part of a dedicated deal team created for each transaction and function as support to the entire group. You will work closely with both senior colleagues and other associates in the team, as well as colleagues from other departments within HQ and abroad in our local offices outside of Denmark.

- You will prepare Financial Modelling for the wind and solar parks globally
- You will handle the Virtual Data Rooms (VDR) for investor information incl. Q&A
- You will prepare marketing materials for investors and banks of our projects
- You will draft information memorandums and perform Due Diligence
- You will work on the execution of deals
To thrive in the role we imagine you have the following competencies
- You have 1-3 years of relevant work experience in M&A within renewables or infrastructure, and preferably you know of the German market.
- You hold a Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or similar and were among top of your class.
- You have solid skills in financial modelling, Excel (Advanced user), PowerPoint, and VBA.
- You are fully proficient in English, oral and written.
