Aalborg Portland Holding A/S is headquartered in Aalborg, Denmark, and has been part of the Cementir Group since 2004 - an international supplier of cement and concrete. In addition to the activities of Aalborg Portland Holding Group, Cementir Group consists of Italian companies. Aalborg Portland A/S is a leading cement producer in the Nordic region and produces both gray and white cement at their factory in Aalborg. The products are sold in Denmark, the USA and adjacent countries.
The job
As Product & Commercial Development Leader you will be responsible for product and commercial development for InWhite Solutions and contribute with technical expertise to support the development and innovation stream within InWhite Solutions at global Cementir Group level.
You will work closely with the local Sales, Marketing and Commercial Development team and relevant functions at corporate level. Furthermore, you will report to the Group Product Development Manager, and you will have a close cooperation with this manager and the Group Commercial Development Manager, who are based in Rome, Italy. In cooperation with these roles your main tasks and responsibilities will be:

The job
As Product & Commercial Development Leader you will be responsible for product and commercial development for InWhite Solutions and contribute with technical expertise to support the development and innovation stream within InWhite Solutions at global Cementir Group level.
You will work closely with the local Sales, Marketing and Commercial Development team and relevant functions at corporate level. Furthermore, you will report to the Group Product Development Manager, and you will have a close cooperation with this manager and the Group Commercial Development Manager, who are based in Rome, Italy. In cooperation with these roles your main tasks and responsibilities will be:
- Coordinate, support and enhance the Sales and Commercial Development of InWhite Solutions products working closely with local Sales and Technical teams across the regions
- Drive commercial development activities and prospecting supporting local Sales & Technical Teams
- Management and supervision of the activities of Research and Quality Centre dedicated to InWhite Solutions, in coordination with the Research and Quality Centre Director
- Identify, pre-assess and support initiatives addressed to the commercial development of InWhite Solutions in terms of value proposition and product innovation
- Manage a customer portfolio pursuing sales and profitability targets
- Benchmarking activities on competing products/solutions
- Responsible for coordinating customer trials of new or improved InWhite products, for preparing technical datasheet, any supplementary technical documentation or marketing material of InWhite products
- Project leader on specific product development projects within InWhite Solutions, coordinating cross-functionally and cross-business units
- Support Marketing at Group and business units levels in setting technical marketing material (standards and main content) within INWhite Solutions
- Support the Corporate Sales, Marketing and Commercial Development team in general in dealing with new geo markets plans or strategic key account management as regards with InWHite Solutions range
Your profile
We imagine that you:
- Have a graduate degree in chemical engineering, concrete technology or similar. Additional Business degree or studies will be an advantage
- Have extensive technical experience especially on premixed products for concrete and mortar’s application.
- Are experienced in customer management within sales and profitability targets
- Have experience as Project Leader
- Have good communication skills and master English at a high level both in writing and orally. Additional languages like French will be an advantage
