The position of Security Officer

In this role, you will be responsible for continuously ensuring that the organization and internal business units are attentive to IT security. Each unit has a dedicated SDP, Security and Data Protection agent, whom you will work closely with in order to ensure a continuous focus on information security and IT security. You will play a central part in designing the information security set-up, handling security events, and training your colleagues in security awareness. This is a new position and it presents the opportunity for you to shape the role and work processes in collaboration with the CIO, whom you will be referring to.

Assignments include:
· Ensuring security event reports and request are followed-up
· IT governance and risk assessments
· Weekly meetings with the security team to assess security measures
· Facilitation and training of SDPs to comply with Trifork’s security standards
· Arranging quarterly meetings with all SDP agents with relevant contents
· Assisting the IT department in connection with new security rollouts
· Documentation, monitoring and reporting of security events
· Annual POC for the accountant regarding ISAE-3000 declaration/audit

About you

Professionally, we imagine that you have some years’ experience as a security officer, security manager, information security analyst or the like, but we do not expect you to be a security expert from day one; there will be room to grow into the job. You have experience handling security events and risk assessments, and perhaps you are also familiar with security standards such as ISO 27001, ISAE-3000. We expect that you are knowledgeable about security by design and facilitation. We appreciate a solid educational background, preferably within IT, but your practical experience and fit for our team are the most important factors.
As a person, you most likely enjoy a balance between structure and diving into details and a communicative role with many internal stakeholders. Great communication skills are important in this position as you will be the point of contact on information security matters and facilitate workshops and events.
