As our new Designer in Teamsport you will become part of a team consisting of seven dedicated team players. The team consists of the Category Manager, a Design Lead, two Product Developers, a Technician, and a Marketing Project Manager. It is a small, laid-back team where everyone has a hands-on approach, helps out wherever needed and works towards a common goal.
Your main task is to create products and collections for the hummel Teamsport catalogue – this means NOOS training and leisure apparel collections as well as sportshardware as balls, shinguards, bags and accessories. In close collaboration with the Category Manager, Design Lead, Product Developers and the Pro Club team you will be a part of the entire value chain from idea to final product; you will develop the collection identity, produce CADs and play an important part in all the following steps of the product development process. Therefore, good knowledge of materials, construction and the product development-flow are an advantage.
In your everyday work you will:
We imagine that our new Designer is a sports-lover. You are passionate and curious about sports and perhaps do (team)sports yourself. Being a team player as well as having a structured mindset are must-haves. As our team is a small team, it is important that you are not afraid to help your colleagues with all sorts of challenges the team may face. Furthermore, you are both creative and analytic in all your tasks. This means that while having a lot of different ideas within the design-phase, it is important that you understand the given task, budget and deadline, and that you can finish the assignment within a given period.
Finally, you have the following skills:

Your work assignments
Your main task is to create products and collections for the hummel Teamsport catalogue – this means NOOS training and leisure apparel collections as well as sportshardware as balls, shinguards, bags and accessories. In close collaboration with the Category Manager, Design Lead, Product Developers and the Pro Club team you will be a part of the entire value chain from idea to final product; you will develop the collection identity, produce CADs and play an important part in all the following steps of the product development process. Therefore, good knowledge of materials, construction and the product development-flow are an advantage.
In your everyday work you will:
- Create the collection identity
- Design CADs, including overviews, Specs and artworks
- Start-up designs and artworks in Delogue
- Approve and comment on artworks, labdips, trims and samples
- Competitor analysis in terms of design
- Design support for Category manager
- Yearly design analysis of the whole team sport range and identify blind spots
Our new team player
We imagine that our new Designer is a sports-lover. You are passionate and curious about sports and perhaps do (team)sports yourself. As our team is a small team, it is important that you are not afraid to help your colleagues with all sorts of challenges the team may face. Furthermore, you are both creative and analytic in all your tasks. Finally, you have the following skills:
- You have a relevant design degree within apparel or product design
- You have 2-3 years of experience and are ready to expand your knowledge and experience
- You are passionate about sports – perhaps you play sports yourself, preferably teamsport – and you enjoy watching teamsports to the point where not only results matter, but also clothing, product technologies and sports aesthetics are of your interest
- You are a skilled user of Adobe Illustrator, PhotoShop and InDesign
- Delogue skills are an advantage, but not a requirement
- You have a solid knowledge of materials and are sure of your material choices
- You have an eye for colors and combinations
- You must be fluent in both written and spoken English. Danish is a plus
