Quality Engineer

What you will do:

Johnson Controls is seeking the best Quality Engineer with expertise and a passion for quality work as a team member, working closely with the manufacturing, engineering, and supplier organizations. You should have the knowledge and ability to drive the quality process for our factory in Holme, Aarhus. As a Quality Engineer, you will have a significant interface with the Sabroe Factory organization, collaborating closely with our Engineering and Development departments on production. Your primary focus will be on driving quality excellence and improving the end-to-end process, utilizing tools and systems to meet the high expectations of our customers.

How you will do it:

We are seeking an individual with a positive and respectful approach, who takes ownership of their responsibilities. You should be a solution-oriented team player who is also capable of leading a team. You can drive and lead proactively, taking necessary actions as required. You are the type of person who can independently make things happen, while also actively involving colleagues. You can drive quality through actions and activities, ensuring improvements and sustaining implementations, utilizing necessary tools, and providing training across the organization. You understand the significance of interaction and collaboration, actively seeking to influence and implement robust solutions.

Requirements:

  • Experience in team leadership.
  • Cross-organizational quality work in a larger organization
  • Experience with PPAP, FMEA, control plans, 8D principles etc.
  • Maintenance of a quality management system (QMS)
  • New Product Introduction from a quality perspective (NPI)
  • Planning and conducting internal audits to ensure compliance with ISO 9001
  • Developing, implementing, and maintaining QA processes
  • Good IT understanding, including knowledge of Excel, Power BI, Word, Teams, etc.
  • Project management experience or Six Sigma education is an advantage.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English, as we are an international group with foreign contacts.

  • Process-oriented with a strong drive to prioritize and perform tasks.
  • Comfortable working on multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Structured and a team player, with the ability to coordinate and execute tasks.
  • Skilled at establishing and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Service-minded and supportive.
