In this role you will be partnering with the Johnson Controls Business and leverage the expertise of the enterprise IT Teams in enabling digital IT solutions across the EMEA region. You will align business and IT objectives, lead overall engagement between business stakeholders and the IT community in Johnson Controls EMEA. You will work on-site from Holme (Aarhus – Denmark) and will have the primary responsibility for enabling the IT services/technologies across all the GP IT PBU’s, functions and business operations in EMEA.
You will be a part of a highly qualified and skilled team that will guide you and ensure a smooth and tailored onboarding enabling you to add immediate value to the organisation.

In this role you will be partnering with the Johnson Controls Business and leverage the expertise of the enterprise IT Teams in enabling digital IT solutions across the EMEA region. What you will do
- Participate in IT strategy execution, including alignment with Enterprise and Business Unit strategies. Support business continuity and disaster recovery efforts, including the creation of business impact analyses
- Support definition and utilization of IT-internal governance processes (ex: approvals, CMDB management, Information Security policies)
- Actively engage with business stakeholders and be responsible for leveraging business processes to capture and assess user requirements to deliver holistic solutions that meet team/company goals including the regional ERP for the regional Manufacturing and Supply Chain IT Demands
- Facilitate business-oriented IT performance reviews for the outcomes of IT services delivered to business stakeholders (examples: ERP Support, Infrastructure, Application Support, Solution Delivery) through the centrally managed, leveraged, enterprise IT organizations
- Support business risk management, regulatory compliance (ex: Sarbanes-Oxley), Information Security, and audit remediation activities
- Accountable that technical solution design meets platform architecture guidelines. Provide feedback to the architecture community on architecture and design
- Accountable that deliverables meet requirements with regards to Software Quality, reliability, availability, performance, and security & compliance aspects of the solution
- Provide insights and thought leadership on industry/functional trends and best practices to guide business priorities, customer and employee experience advancements, and technology decisions
- In this role you will not have employees referring directly to you. The “lead” aspect is the responsibility area.
What we look for
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering or similar
- Minimum of 8 years of IT experience (ERP Process mapping experiencing, especially SAP)
- Working experience with ERP technologies such as SAP Hanna, Oracle Fusion, iScala, PTC Windchill PLM and MES systems is an advantage
- Experience working in sizeable multinational corporations and cross-cultural environment is preferred
- Strong leadership with interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills (English)
- Teamworking skills and a collaborative approach to sharing ideas and finding solutions
- Ability to manage multiple regional projects effectively
