Use your extensive offshore wind experience to support top management decisions
Are you ready to use knowledge of order fulfilment and profit improvement to impact MHI Vestas’ operational and tactical commercial decisions? Do you have what it takes to plan and drive cross-functional transparency and operational/tactical decision-making focusing on Global Supply Chain, Construction and Service?
As part of the Global Planning Office (GPO) in Aarhus, DK, you will carry out various tasks at the heart of the organisation. Via cross-functional coordination, you will support tactical and operational decisions by focusing on contribution across all revenue streams. Reporting directly to the CEO, you can look forward to an exciting journey where you will ensure effective decision making by monitoring order fulfilment and commercial optimisation.
Tasks & responsibilities: You will…
…be program and metric owner of the OTR (Order to Remittance) process, where your primary focus will be to monitor Contribution Margin, and subsequently identify and execute initiatives to improve profitability.
It will be your responsible to support effective decision making in the OTR value chain, which you will ensure by establishing metrics in close collaboration with the CEO and C-level management. This will be followed by monitoring, controlling and correcting the metrics through cross-departmental coordination.
An important part of your role will be to act as a consultant to the CEO working between the CEO and the C-level management supporting commercial opportunities and operational excellence.
Your tasks will include:
Act as representative for the CEO focusing on the OTR value chain (Global Supply Chain, Construction and Service) Conduct and develop analyses, reports and presentations Develop the material for the OTR meetings (CxO level meetings) focusing on transparency and decision making Document actions and decisions made on OTR meetings Support the planning, execution and implementation of given actions throughout the value chain Be an active change agent on new initiatives and processes to support the OTR value chain
Skills & experience: Our new colleague…
…has 5-7 years of relevant work experience combined with good understanding of value chains in large, multicultural organisations. You hold a master’s degree in economics or similar, have a process oriented mind-set (preferable LEAN optimisation experience) and have excellent communication skills. It is also important that you have good knowledge of project execution within the offshore wind industry. As a person, you are flexible and have a high level of integrity and loyalty. You can handle many different tasks simultaneously and are able to keep a holistic overview and prioritise your tasks.
