We – Maersk Special Projects & Logistics - are now building a team to handle a special project part of a global customer. The role as Solution Engineer offers a great opportunity to be part of a winning team and be a strong enabler in shaping the success of our increased focus on Project Logistics. You will be part of a new build European team as desire to deliver best in class service, effective communication, cost awareness and continuous performance which supports our growth aspirations and the success of our customers within Project Logistics.

The position will be located in Aarhus.

Key responsibilities


As a Solution Engineer, you will be a part of a team of 50 experienced colleagues in the Maersk Special Project Logistics product, where we strive to deliver the best service for our customers. The position & team is newly established and require an entrepreneurial mindset.

Together with the new team you will play a key role in designing tailor-made logistics solutions and coordination of various projects for our customers as well as being part of our accelerated growth within our segment.

Your main responsibilities will, among others, be:
• Coordination and planning of solutions for our global customer
• Project coordination and execution, including on ground supervision in all of Europe
• Leading the Continuous improvement towards our customers via innovative daily cooperation with various stakeholders of our customers
• Ability to travel to various locations of execution.

Our ideal candidate is innovative, self-driven person with a can-do attitude, well organized with good stakeholder management skills in a complexed working environment. You work well with challenging situations and enjoy in having project responsibility. We value our unique team and are looking for someone who shares our vision of teamwork being the backbone of all we do.

The strong candidate has:

- Proven project experience
- Excellent communication skills, including both verbal and written fluency in English
o Other language skills are an advantage but not a requirement.
- A collaborative mindset with a “can do” attitude
- Eagerness to be best in class and part of a winning team
- Ability to be flexible when needed as our job is not always 8-16
- Ability to travel approx. 30-40 days a year
