PURPOSE

Actively drive customer relationships to ensure a smooth customer flow, efficient handling and a great customer experience.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Initiate, proactively plan, execute and follow- up customer meetings to understand needs and concerns

  • Extract, compile and analyze information concerning customers and set up relevant activities to continuously develop customer relationship and fulfill customer needs

  • Initiate and drive constant improvement work and working with LEAN-methods

  • Working proactively in projects to support customers to manager their tasks and ensuring an optimized and smooth customer experience of the terminal.

  • Drive projects related to customer experience

  • Work proactively on problem solving and achieving improved ways of working

  • Working with VGM, EDI & Coprar

  • Being super user in relevant digital systems (N4 – CIL - PICIT)

  • Daily guidance over email and phone

  • Educating customers in all relevant digital systems and along with the Gate & CFS team with special emphasis on the Customs Expert developing our digital solutions


CRITICAL KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

  • Requires a degree in business, marketing, logistic or related discipline

  • Requires previous experience from working in customer service, with a special focus on building customer relationships

  • Must have fundamental knowledge of transportation industry, sales methods and practices, trends, and customers.

  • Requires good understanding of LEAN

  • Requires solid knowledge of digital systems and IT-solutions

  • Requires verbal and written communications skills, both Danish and English.

  • Requires good analytical skills, including the ability to extract, compile and analyze data.

  • Must be able to exercise discretion and good judgment, with an ability to understand the effect of decisions overall in the company.

  • Must be able to handle company information with confidentiality and discretion.

  • Requires excellent interpersonal skills & an ability to interact with customers.

  • Must be proficient in desktop computer software programs, such as MS office and other software programs for specific cargo planning purposes.
