As an Area FinOps SME you will be support all of the CSOs with upskilling in and making full use of new processes, tools and applications, with small scope and/or complexity in FinOps, in order continuously to improve our service offering to our customers, and at the same time, improve our productivity. You will also have to Follow up with CSOs on standard processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide business support to CSOs, using new operational platforms.
- Provide business support and manages improvement projects in sites in
- which performance is slipping.
- Transfer expertise knowledge about operational processes from HQ
- Business Process Owner community to CSOs. This is not limited to
- business processes, business process measures and integration of systems
- with other applications for reporting visibility, messaging and
- alerting.
- Establish an open and constructive working relationship with the
- global Subject Matter Expert community to ensure rapid and optimal use
- of global solutions.
- Document requirements and ensures compliance with required processes.
SME will also be handling below FinOps activities:
- Initially understanding & handling FinOps coordinator activities for few accounts
- Ensuring all training needs for local FinOps coordinators and local organization are covered
- Supporting customer implementations
- Working closely with CSP/CX/Finance/ML Disputes/origins & Centre teams for smoother handling of daily activities & for any new system implementations
- Drive FinOps metrics with local & GSC FinOps teams
- Reviewing incidents and work with IT team
We are looking for a person who:
- Has SCM Business understanding
- Has accounting knowledge related to Job Costing – Revenue (RR logic) & Cost (GR/IR), ICB
- Is a self-starter and proactive in tackling issues before they snowball
- Has Internal stakeholder management skills
- Is able to work with large volume of data
- Has strong Excel skills (data modelling skills)
