Join our track design team in Aarhus As our new Track Engineer (m/f/d), you will be joining our enthusiastic and emerging design team based at our office in Denmark’s second-largest city Aarhus, a vibrant and young student city located at the coast of Kattegat. Our office in Aarhus offers social events, a canteen and fitness facilities for around 700 Ramboll employees, where you can experience the Danish working culture with good team spirit, flexible work time and a flat hierarchy. We are involved in a variety of national and international projects: New railway and tram lines e.g. Fehmarn Belt Fixed Link and Aarhus Light Rail stage 2 Technical and economic feasibility studies for new and existing public transport systems e.g. New tram/BRT in Kiel, Germany Renewal, optimization and reactivation schemes of existing railways e.g. Redesign of Aarhus Central Station and Track renewal between Copenhagen Central Station and Høje Taastrup Your key tasks and responsibilities will be Designing tracks and alignments of railways and light rails 3D-modelling railway infrastructure, such as tracks, drainage and platforms Collaborating with colleagues and departments in Denmark and Germany Bringing your knowledge of German regulations to bear in our German projects Supporting technical enquiries, such as the optimization of alignments Involvement in quantity estimations and the preparation of tender documents Requirements From the moment you join Ramboll, we will support your personal and professional development so that you grow with the company. For this role, you should fulfil the following requirements: Successfully completed studies in Civil Engineering focusing on rail and transport (B.Sc. in Civil Engineering or comparable education) Ideally you have existing experience in planning railways and light rails (e.g. as trainee or working student) Experience with relevant CAD/BIM software (e.g. AutoCAD, ProVI, MicroStation, OpenRail) Good level of written and spoken German and English Motivated team player with good communication skills How to apply Apply online.
