In this position, you will gain insights into a global consultancy, while obtaining solid knowledge of what it takes to be a management consultant.</p><p> </p><p>We are passionate about the green transition, circular economy, sustainable finance, and social sustainability. We specialise in business and sustainability consulting within the sectors of energy, infrastructure, construction, manufacturing, waste, and water where we advise both private companies and the public sector. In doing so, we provide sustainability strategies, financial advisory and implementation as a one-stop shop for our clients. We believe that the true value of our offerings arises from the ability to combine traditional business and strategy consulting with true sustainability expertise within the same team to provide one coherent solution addressing both issues at once.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Inviting bright minds to join our Strategic Sustainability Consulting department</strong></p><p>As our new colleague, you will be a part of a young, dynamic, and international department with an inspiring professional drive and strong team spirit. While our backgrounds are diverse, we share a passion for our work, projects, and clients, and we enjoy spending time together outside the workplace at social gatherings.</p><p> </p><p>As a management consultancy in Ramboll, our projects are characterised by bridging commercial business understanding and deep technical expertise. You will be challenged with a busy workday in an interdisciplinary environment, where you will learn about all parts of a project, from tendering through project execution. You will be an integrated part of our team, and from the moment you join us, you will be supported in your personal and professional development. You will gain experience from challenging and complex projects and participate in training tailored to our team and your professional experience.</p><p> </p><p>The expected working hours will be around 20 hours per week and can be adapted to your studies.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Potential projects you can be involved in are:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Strategy and M&A</strong> – such as:<ul><li>Market studies</li><li>Materiality assessment and sustainability strategy</li><li>Due diligence and commercial/operational transaction support</li></ul></li><li><strong>Decarbonisation and climate strategy </strong>– such as:<ul><li>Decarbonisation strategy and road-mapping</li><li>Transformation, change, and implementation</li><li>Just transition policy and framework guidance</li></ul></li><li><strong>Circular business growth and innovation strategies</strong> – such as:<ul><li>Circular baseline assessment and benchmarking</li><li>Business model development</li><li>Metrics development</li></ul></li><li><strong>Sustainable economics, finance, and ESG </strong>– such as:<ul><li>EU Taxonomy alignment and roadmap</li><li>Cost-benefit analysis and economic and financial appraisal</li><li>ESG screening and assessment</li></ul></li></ul><p>Your tasks will be varied and depend on the project scope as well as your personal development goals. Typical project responsibilities for a student include research; data, market, and competitor analysis; creating presentations; writing reports; and participating in client workshops.</p><p><strong>For this journey, we believe your starting point is:</strong></p><ul><li>Currently studying or about to begin your graduate studies on a relevant higher education, typically within business, economics, sustainability, or engineering</li><li>Among the best in your class</li><li>Relevant work experience from student jobs, internships, or extracurricular activities</li><li>A structured approach with strong analytical and conceptual capabilities</li><li>Ability to think strategically, have a high level of abstraction, and the ability to put yourself in the client’s shoes</li><li>Ability to work independently, but at the same time be a team player</li><li>Experience in using PowerPoint, Word, and Excel</li><li>Professional proficiency in English (Proficiency in Danish is not mandatory, but it will be beneficial.)</li></ul><p><strong>How to apply</strong></p><p>Please submit your application online.
