HSE Supervisor – Aarhus

As our new HSE) Supervisor, you will join the Nordic HSSE team. Here, a team of colleagues are ready to welcome you to a versatile everyday life, which includes incident investigations, risk analyses, and immersion in data and statistics. In the role, you will have a broad interface as you coach the organization for continuous improvements and take an active role in ensuring that HSSE management systems and applicable legislation are successfully adhered to.

We offer:

Your main task will be to focus on the further development of the existing safety culture. The focal point is to ensure that the company's safety culture is continuously developed and improved through Lean tools such as Gemba and Kaizen.

Your tasks will include:

  • Facilitating incident investigations, finding out how similar incidents can be avoided in the future, and ensuring that the learning reaches the entire organization.
  • Preparing risk assessments in collaboration with the management in the operational departments.
  • Developing emergency plans, standard procedures.
  • Teaching HSSE principles - both through classroom teaching and e-learning.
  • Assisting external partners with alcohol and substance tests.
  • Supporting operational management with ad hoc tasks and, importantly, working with sustainability based on the company's environmental roadmap

You’ll become part of a global organization where green transition and sustainability are truly on the agenda, giving you ample opportunity to contribute and help shape the future. It could be that you have an idea for new tools, or perhaps you need to be involved in practical tasks within the green transition.

We are looking for:

There are several entry points to the position; perhaps you have a few years of experience in the field, or maybe you are a recent graduate with theoretical knowledge and some experience. The most important thing is that you are systematic, analytical, and innovative as a person.

You have plenty of initiative and are outgoing by nature, so you can talk to colleagues at all levels of the organisation. You understand how to translate safety and regulations into digestible messages, and you know how to motivate and network among your colleagues with your good humour.

Other qualifications:

  • You are good with IT and preferably have experience with various systems.
  • You speak and write Danish and English.
  • It is an advantage if you are familiar with Lean tools, but it is not a must – we will, of course, train you in our tools and resources.
  • You are a team player, but at the same time, you are used to - and love - working independently
