Join our team in Maersk Global Charter Desk in Aarhusas a Air Charter Operator. If you are passionate about managing and operating Air Charters – both for cargo and for passenger aircrafts, we want to hear from you!
Job Summary:
Maersk Global Charter Desk is a part of the OCFO (Own Controlled Fleet Operation) within Maersk, who are handling Maersk Air Cargo (airline) capacities as well as all leased in capacities in short and/or longer terms. The organization is only a few years old, and the growth is ongoing every day.
The Maersk Global Charter Desk operates Air Charters for all the Maersk organization – in every part of the world. The charters contain all aircraft aspects including Cargo-, Passenger- and VIP-aircrafts, which is obtained via Maersk’s own fleet or the vast network of airlines all over the World.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting Maersk colleagues with their Air Charter needs
- Preparing options for Air Charters to all entities within Maersk
- Assisting on tenders, where Air Charter is demanded
- Bridge-building between Airlines and Maersk
- Selling capacities on Maersk Air Cargo aircrafts
Qualifications:
- You must have a Freight Forwarding or transport background/education
- Several years of experience within Air Freight forwarding
- Have experience within Project Management would be a plus
- Experienced in working within large corporate environments as Maersk or similar
- You have to be willing to operate outside normal working hours. As the flights are all over the world occasionally weekends and evenings can be applicable
- This role requires occasional travel for exhibition, overseeing loadings and/or visiting airlines or clients/approximately 10-15 days per year
